Zodiac Signs - Intro

There are 12 zodiac signs in astrology which play a part in everyone’s actual chart. We are most familiar with the sun signs. Below is a list of the zodiac signs and their sun sign dates and the three words I use to get my initial take on the energy: 

 

Aries, the Warrior - March 21 - April 19

Independent, self-oriented, physical activity

Taurus, the Builder - April 20 - May 20

Hard worker, persistent, loyal


Gemini, the Storyteller - May 21 - June 20

Communicator, social butterfly, agile mind


Cancer, the Nurturer - June 21 - July 22

Connection, emotional, giving


Leo, the Performer - July 23 - August 22

Charismatic, center of attention, visionary leader


Virgo, the Craftsman - August 23 - September 22

Detail-oriented, High Standards, Practical


Libra, the Peacemaker - September 23 - October 22

Debate Pro, Procrastinate, Balance


Scorpio, the Alchemist (Transformation) - October 23 - November 21

Observant, Secretive, Deep emotions


Sagittarius, the Philosopher - November 22 - December 19

Adventurer, Blunt Honesty, Freedom

This is what most of us associate with astrology – knowing our sun signs and perhaps looking at horoscopes based on it. We may even associate some character attributes to ourselves and others based on the sun sign. 

 

The sun sign represents the energy that suffuses one’s personality, purpose and will. The “labels” I listed with each sign came from my training and represent the archetypes behind each sign. These can represent the strengths and challenges one faces in this life.
